The Young and the Restless (Y&R) viewers are in for a rollercoaster of emotions as Summer and Chance’s love story takes a new turn.
With Sharon ending her relationship with Chance, an open path lies ahead for Summer. Y&R spoilers suggest that the couple might be headed toward a deeper connection, possibly including a pregnancy plot.
A Clear Path for Summer and Chance
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) indicates that Summer now has an open path to Chance after Sharon ends their relationship.
Sharon did not want to prevent Chance from having the chance to find a genuine relationship partner. Sharon allowed Chance to go so he could find the right woman and start a new life because she simply did not think the two of them would work out.
Chance might ultimately determine that Summer is the right woman for him because she is eager to get to know him more.
Of course, there is an easy way for Y&R to make sure Summer and Chance become a couple in the future. Maybe we could include a new little Newman-Chancellor in the mix.
As Chance and Summer’s love story is still in its early stages, they still have to go through all the required procedures, which include sharing their first kiss and finally sharing their first bedtime.
There will be a pregnancy plot for Summer once she and Chance move their relationship into a more personal domain. It would be an excellent method to advance the relationship for this couple and make them decide if they are compatible.
If she ends up with his bun in the oven, Chance and Summer might decide to commit to one another sooner.
Chance’s Fertility Struggles
Chance discovered that his sperm count and motility were low back when he was planning to become pregnant with Abby.
Chance was informed by his physician, though, that the problem might eventually resolve itself. Abby desired to know immediately, which was the issue.
Chance and Abby decided to use a sperm donor rather than put off starting a family. Essentially, Chance’s problems with sperm motility may be resolved.
Even though Summer has taken on a more maternal role for Harrison, her time with him has decreased significantly since her breakup with Kyle.
In addition, there is always a chance Tara will elude custody and escape from prison. It is possible that Tara will not be happy if Summer continues to act as Harrison’s mother.
This might be Summer’s opportunity to have a child of her own, one that no one will attempt to take from her after her time in prison is over.
Tara’s Potential Impact
Chance does not feel as though he should have a deeper connection with Dominic. Chance was not present for Dominic’s early years in Spain and was unable to form the same kind of bond with him as Devon, his biological father.
Chance will always be Dominic’s father, but it is obvious that he is not the child’s primary father figure.
Will Summer become pregnant in the upcoming months, providing Chance with another chance to form a close bond with a newborn?
Though only time will tell, Chance and Summer might find having a baby to be an interesting joint path. Watch this space for updates on any baby news that may upend things.
