In the latest Y&R spoilers, Jordan takes a perilous plunge into the world of kidnapping and revenge. With a nod to soap opera history, Colleen Zenk portrays a cunning character as she targets the Newmans. As the drama unfolds, Jordan’s risky plan raises questions about the fate of Claire and Nikki.
Zenk’s Nod to As The World Turns
Spoilers for “The Young and the Restless” (Y&R) reveal that it is dangerous to plan to trade one kidnapped person for another. But Jordan’s world is spinning so quickly that her thoughts are disorganized. Devoted fans of daytime television noticed the allusion to the well-known soap opera As The World Turns.
It goes without saying that Zenk spent 35 years (1975–2010) playing Barbara Ryan on ATWT. She was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series category three times (in 2001, 2002, and 2011).
Zenk made an appearance in 1,836 episodes before going missing from the ATWT series in 2010. Her astounding figure places her in fourth place among the soap opera’s entire cast of all time.
Bravo for the well-informed casting choice, which saw Zenk perfectly capture the role of Cole’s aunt. Daytime Jordan is delicious, with his rotten behavior and impressively depraved facial expressions.
The courageous figure that Zenk is playing makes an entrance into the Newman family’s domain. When she got there, she set up a secret location and, after reporting herself, lured the authorities there. She then disguised herself to look like a blonde Nikki, with her blond hair styled in an extravagant manner. The costume department deserves praise because Zenk’s face in that outfit did not resemble Michael Jordan’s.
Claire’s Identity Revelation
Jordan strode into the psychiatric ward of Genoa City Memorial Hospital wearing platinum clothing. When they realized that she had no trouble entering her niece’s room, viewers had to suspend their disbelief. It was risky to remove Claire from a facility under observation.
The possibility that Jordan drugged Claire or is still in control of her remains unanswered since viewers were not shown that scene.
It seems strange to have Nikki go to the place where Claire is allegedly being held on purpose in order to have an exchange. But Nikki is inebriated and incapable of thinking clearly.
It seems unlikely that Jordan will succeed in her endeavor. Her nephew and the Newman family were the targets of her attempted murder. Thus, it would be impossible to get rid of Nikki and maybe Claire. It seems like Erin is a regular contract player.
Jordan’s stay will probably be brief because Zenk’s character belongs in the villain category. Claire’s parents informed her that they had genetic identity confirmation. She is aware that she is a member of the Newman clan.
Jordan is now her enemy as a result. Stopping Aunt Jordan on Y&R is the best way for Erin’s character to take on the hero role.
