With its main office located in Budapest, the team works to neutralize threats to American citizens by looking into crimes and acts of terrorism overseas. Since Season 1, Luke Kleintank has portrayed Fly Team leader Scott Forrester.
After three seasons as the Fly Team’s leader, Kleintank announced his departure from the show in April 2024. Fans said goodbye to Scott Forrester in the Season 3 finale, and now we have the official answer to how the beloved Fly Team leader was written out. Why is Scott Forrester leaving FBI: International? The details surrounding the departure of Luke Kleintank’s character are as follows.
Is Scott Forester leaving FBI International?
Yes, Luke Kleintank walked away from FBI: International in the recently-aired Season 3 finale.
For the three seasons, Kleintank played Fly Team supervisor Scott Forrester. It is significant to remember that Forrester, who was last seen in the May 4 episode “Touts,” had not been on FBI: International for several weeks.
The episode after “Touts” revealed Agent Forrester to be missing, but the season finale explained the character’s location. The NSA liaison Brian Lange discovers that Scott Forrester went to Norway to free his mother, who is being held captive, in the first scene of the season finale. Although the Norwegian government had not approved such an act, the Fly Team chose to assist Forrester, making the mission extremely dangerous.
A string of dramatic events ensued, including a small lie about Scott’s mother’s identity. After the show, it became clear that Scott and his mother were running around in Alaska with no intention of being discovered. Thus, the story of Forrester’s tenure in the series ends.
Why did Luke Klenitank leave the FBI: International?
