Who is Sean Kuraly?
Sean Kuraly is an American professional ice hockey forward and alternate captain for the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League (NHL). His birthday is January 20, 1993.
In the fifth round of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, 133rd overall, he was chosen by the San Jose Sharks.
Kuraly participated in the 2005 and 2006 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournaments as a young player for Ohio-based minor ice hockey teams.
Kuraly played four games in the U.S. National Development Team Program following his early years with the Tier 1 Ohio AAA Blue Jackets. He then joined the Indiana Ice of the United States Hockey League (USHL).

Later that evening, an update from the Blue Jackets’ Twitter account verified Sean Kuraly’s circumstances.
Kuraly was being assessed at the arena, according to the Blue Jackets, who also stated that medical staff had been notified as a precaution.
Another update was given by the Columbus Blue Jackets’ Bally Sports affiliate that the paramedic response to Kuraly’s injury was just a precaution and that he is in a safe condition.
