Nigerian actor and filmmaker Femi Adebayo has stirred emotions with his recent post as he goes all out to celebrate his father, Adebayo Salami, aka Oga Bello.

Although Salami is of Kwara descent, he was born in Lagos State on May 9, 1953, and completed his elementary and secondary education there. In 1964, he made his acting debut with the Young Concert Party. Salami was a founding member and the organization’s president of the Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioners.
Oga Bello is reported to have 18 children! He reportedly has nine sons, nine daughters, and fifteen grandchildren. As he turned 72 on Thursday, seasoned Nollywood actor Adebayo Salami, also known as Oga Bello, received many well wishes from friends, family, and fans.
The actor expressed his gratitude to God and shared a photo of himself on his Instagram page on Thursday. “I pray Allah continues to bless me with sound health, more peace of mind, and more wisdom,” the writer wrote, commemorating his birthday today. “Happy birthday to me.

Another Nollywood actor Femi Adebayo, his son, thanked Oga Bello for his love and understanding in a different Instagram post, calling him “one of the major gifts” God gave him.
He showered his father with good wishes by posting heartfelt photos of the two of them on his Instagram page.
“Happy birthday to my amazing, understanding, loving, and caring father,” wrote Adebayo. One of the best gifts God has ever given me is you. I love you so much, Daddy. My father, my friend!”
Along with his well wishes, he thanked his father for his “never-ending” guidance.
He added, “I wish the whole world knew how awesome you are as a father. Daddy, thank you for bringing me into this world; thank you for showing me the way; and thank you for your never-ending guidance. I love you. Enjoy your day.
