This summer, King Charles may invite Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to Balmoral

Even though King Charles and Prince Harry have not shown much affection lately, is there any possibility that this summer will be different?

King Charles is reportedly gearing up to invite Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for a significant royal gathering at Balmoral Castle, to mend familial ties and foster a closer relationship with his grandchildren. The source disclosed that he might conclude that life is too short.

Lilibet and Archie, the grandchildren of King Charles, have not had much contact with the royal family. Archie was born on May 6, 2019.

Soon after that, on January 8, 2020, Harry and Meghan announced their controversial decision to step back from their royal duties and settle in the US.

Archie and Lilibet hold dual citizenship in the United Kingdom and the United States.

Charles, who is reportedly fighting an unidentified cancer, has reportedly only met Harry’s daughter Lilibet once and his son Archie a few times.

Charles initially saw Lilibet, who was two years old, in 2022 during the Late Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebration. A royal source described the union as “fantastic” and “very emotional.”

Balmoral, where the royal family has strong ties, is a perfect estate for a family vacation. Harry and Meghan should undoubtedly accept the visit if he does extend an invitation,” the source continued.

Harry is eager to reconcile with his father

Following the announcement of Charles’s cancer diagnosis at the age of 75, Prince Harry traveled 5,000 miles from Los Angeles to the UK to meet his father.

The meeting was reportedly less than an hour, after which the Duke stayed overnight at a hotel before flying out.

He did not, however, pay a visit to his estranged brother, Prince William, during his brief trip.

In an interview, Harry declared, “Look, I adore my family.” I appreciate having a chance to board a plane, see him, and spend time with him.”

About Charles’s health, Harry insisted, “That stays between me and him.”

Family disputes are the furthest thing from children’s minds, according to Luana Ribeira, founder of Dauntless PR, who also hinted that the royal cousins will be overjoyed to be reunited.

Letting the cousins spend time together could be one step toward a full reconciliation. Children, after all, typically do not give a damn about historical grievances and can help adults focus on what matters—family.”
