Marcus Coloma in General Hospital: Coloma did not film final scenes

In the days before Christmas, General Hospital fans discovered that Marcus Coloma, who played Nikolas Cassadine, was leaving the show for good. On the show, Coloma played the role.

SoapAsk was the first to report the news. It said that the last episodes of Coloma would air before the end of January 2023.

Agents for Coloma told Newsweek that they don’t believe the claim that he didn’t record his last scenes because he knew he had been fired from the show. The newspaper said that after Coloma found out he had been cut, he decided not to film his last scenes.

A spokeswoman for Coloma told Newsweek in an exclusive statement that he would not return to General Hospital because his three-year contract had ended. This information came from the person who spoke for the company.

Unfortunately, Coloma got COVID-19, which kept him from working during the last few days of 2022. Because of this, he couldn’t be in the ending scenes meant for him.

Marcus’s three-year contract with General Hospital has ended, and he has said how much he has enjoyed working on the show with such a talented group of actors, writers, producers, and directors. Unfortunately, his recent exposure to Covid has caused health problems, so the network has been kind enough to let him not film for the last few days of the year.

Marcus was thrilled to be able to bring back about 300 episodes of Nikolas, a famous character with many different sides.

In 2019, Coloma started playing Nikolas at General Hospital. He took over for Nick Stabile, who had played Nikolas before.

After Tyler Christopher played Nikolas from 1996 to 1999, Coltin Scott took over. Nikolas was a character that Christopher made up. Christopher returned to the role in 2003 after being away from it for four years.

Beginning in June 2016, Stabile was in charge of this job until Coloma took over.

Fans have posted online about how sad they are that the actor Coloma will no longer be on General Hospital. For the past three years, he has played a very important role on the show.
