Marvel has only recently become more receptive to the strange aspects of comic books. Things were different twenty years ago. One of the first big-budget Marvel movies was X-Men, which heavily favored realism and grime.
The mutant team’s uniforms were made of sleek black leather, thanks to renowned monstrous X-Men director Bryan Singer. Even references to the comic’s yellow spandex uniforms were made in dialogue.
The iconic Deadpool Wolverine suit
One of the most recognizable outfits in Marvel Comics, Wolverine is distinguished by its distinctive black mask and predominately yellow color.
Despite a live-action version being hinted at in The Wolverine’s alternate ending in 2013, the Hugh Jackman-played character never actually wore the iconic outfit in later movies.
Why do we think the Wolverine suit might make a return?
We do not have any proof that Wolverine took part in this shoot, but he didn’t. But as soon as Deadpool 3 set pictures started to circulate online, a reputable Marvel leaker took to Instagram to share what appeared to be the Wolverine costume. The Wolverine we have always wanted will finally appear in live-action films, claims CanWeGetSomeToast.
Hugh Jackman can be seen wearing the renowned yellow and blue suit in the photo. But in Deadpool 3, Wolverine will wear blue sleeves rather than a sleeveless outfit. It appears to be “fantastic” looking.
Leaked pictures from Deadpool 3
Considering the veracity of this leak, Marvel will seize every opportunity to introduce Wolverine to fans in Deadpool 3. The outfit would make a fantastic teaser, allowing Marvel to reveal something about the film without having to be careful not to give away major plot points. Additionally, Deadpool 3 will feature several incredible cameos and connections to the Foxverse, if other reports are true.
Additionally, MyTimeToShineHello, a leaker, hinted that Wolverine might appear after Deadpool 3. As a result, Wolverine could be seen wearing the yellow and blue suit without the sleeves.
According to rumors, Avengers: Secret Wars will be a huge superhero tale starring a variety of characters from every film based on Marvel superheroes. Along with the X-Men from the Fox universe, this also includes Spider-Man from Sony.
Until we get there, we’ll need to see what happens in Deadpool 3. If Marvel does not make any additional changes to its release schedule, the film debuts on May 3rd, 2024.
Deadpool 3 Plot
Although Reynolds and Jackman have stated that time travel is a part of the story, plot details for Deadpool 3 are still largely unknown.
In 2018’s Deadpool 2, the Merc with a Mouth previously traveled across the multiverse to kill the version of himself from X-Men Origins: Wolverine and “stop” Reynolds from playing the lead in the DC movie Green Lantern.
According to an old rumor, Deadpool’s time-traveling antics will cause Loki’s Time Variance Authority to show up at his door, along with guest appearances from Tara Strong’s Miss Minutes and Agent Mobius, played by Owen Wilson. The latter, though, have questioned whether they will appear in the threequel.
Deadpool 3 expected cast
In terms of casting, there have been rumors that Deadpool 3 will include cameos from actors from the first three X-Men movies. Recurring in their respective roles as Storm, Jean Grey, and Cyclops are reportedly Halle Berry, Famke Janssen, and James Marsden.
Gambit, an X-Men member, is also rumored to be played in the movie by Channing Tatum. A Gambit spinoff movie starring the actor had been planned since 2014, but after Disney acquired 20th Century Fox in 2019, the project was shelved.
