Andrea Hall made her television debut in 1977 when she played Samantha, Marlena Evans’s envious twin sister on DAYS. Andrea Jean Corridor was born on October 31, 1947. She is a former American actress in soap operas. Hall is also well-known for being Deidre Hall’s identical twin sister.
On Days of Our Lives, Hall portrayed Samantha Evans, the twin sister of Deidre’s character Marlena Evans, from 1977 to 1982. She got back to the show playing a Marlena-carbon copy, Hattie Adams, from 2000 to 2001. Hall ran PuppyTracks in 1989, TV soap opera merchandise business. She is married to Thomas Gengler.

“Days of Our Lives” has left a mark on the world in various ways. The NBC show was perhaps the earliest opera to start 60 mins long episodes and holds the record for being quick to project the very first arrangement of real-life twins in reel life.
They were the first twins to ever appear together on daytime television, making history. In 1976, entertainer Deidre Hall appeared as the now-notable person Dr. Marlena Evans. Deidre’s identical twin sister Andrea Evans joined the soap as Samantha Evans, Marlena’s twin sister, a year later. Samantha was well-known for trying to steal Marlena’s identity and being Marlena’s envious sister.
Deidre was impressed with Andrea’s acting skills
Andrea Hall was a special education teacher in Florida at the time. During her time working on “Days of Our Lives,” she moved to Los Angeles to live with her twin sister, Deidre Hall. Deidre was impressed by Andrea’s acting skills.
Deidre acknowledged that she was a little concerned about how her sister would act in front of the camera, particularly during scenes that involved emotions. Deidre, on the other hand, claims that Andrea’s acting abilities impressed her.
Hall told People, “I was so panicked for her.” She started to cry while I was watching the scenes from a distance out of her line of sight. As she fell off, I said, ‘That was fabulous. What did you do?’ She responded, “Well, I don’t know.” Over the years, I’ve watched you do it. How difficult could it be?
Andrea played Samantha, a drug addict who was out of work and envious of the life her sister had built for herself in Salem. To kill her sister, Samantha even went as far as to pretend to be her.
Samantha looked like she was Marlena while she was in the hospital. In the long run, her arrangement was thwarted and she was shipped off to jail.
