In the upcoming week of The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B), Ridge grapples with critical decisions regarding Eric’s health. As a last-ditch effort to save Eric emerges, conflicts arise over medical choices, leading to potential breakthroughs that could change the Forresters’ lives.
Ridge’s Burden of Decisions
In the upcoming week of December 18–22 on The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B), Ridge appears ready to change his mind, but he is concerned that it might be too late for Eric.
Though it does not seem like he is taking into account all the information, Ridge appears to be trying to honor Eric’s wishes and has a medical power of attorney.
Doctor Colin persuaded Eric that there was no hope, so Eric avoided hospitals and unnecessary testing because he did not believe he had any control over his situation.
Eric would have likely agreed to Finn’s experimental treatment if he had been informed about it beforehand. Finn is now offering the treatment.
Not too long ago, Donna overheard Eric sobbing as he complained about not being able to stay and spend more time with her! Finn’s suggestion might be useful for that strategy.
Bridget may be able to convince Ridge that the possible rewards outweigh the risks by providing an alternative medical viewpoint, given her impending increased involvement in this plot.
Guidance from Unexpected Quarters
It appears that Ridge will eventually give up and allow Eric’s medical team to attempt this last-ditch effort to save his life.
In any case, Dr. Martin, a doctor from Big Brother season 25, will provide advice to Finn and Bridget regarding this complex matter. Bridget and Finn may receive guidance from Dr. Martin regarding Eric’s experimental treatment.
The FC employee James (Matt Klotz, the runner-up of Big Brother season 25) will be interacting with RJ, Luna, and Zende Forrester at Forrester Creations.
If by then rumors start circulating through the organization, James might want to know what is new with Eric. Perhaps James will wish the Forrester family well and hope Eric makes a full recovery.
Eric’s family will be hopeful about his chances even though there will inevitably be some waiting due to the length of time required for his blood cleanse and transplant.
Fans of B&B are aware that Donna has been asking for a miracle, and it seems that as Christmas draws near, she will receive one.
If this treatment is exactly what Eric needs to survive for many years to come, Ridge might find himself wishing he had given in sooner. Logan’s family and the Forresters will celebrate a significant occasion this year, so be sure to tune in.
