Sharon’s Frustration and Adam’s Selfishness
According to spoilers for Monday, August 28, on The Young and the Restless (Y&R), Sharon will grow tired of Adam and his selfishness.
Sharon wanted to function as a true team when she first proposed the idea of working with Adam. In spite of Sharon and Nick’s efforts to convince Adam to support their shared vision for SNA Media, he now desires to act independently as CEO after SNA Media is merged with Newman Media. A
dam sees this as the ideal opportunity to reclaim the position of supreme authority at Newman Media because he is obsessed with doing so.
Kirsten Incorporated: A Pawn in the Game
Naturally, that will not work for Nick and Sharon, so on Monday’s episode of Y&R, they will talk about a new strategy.
Sharon will suggest to Nick during a private conversation away from Adam that perhaps it is time to cancel the agreement entirely.
Sharon will be motivated to free Kirsten Incorporated from Adam and Victor’s control because they are attempting to alter the terms.
That would at least reclaim control for Sharon and prevent Newman Media from absorbing her contribution. The drawback is that because Kirsten Incorporated is a failing business, Sharon is limited in what she can accomplish with it on her own.
Even so, Sharon will think about walking away from this agreement and possibly pursuing a new one with Nick’s assistance.
Sharon’s ultimate goal has always been to use Kirsten Incorporated to do good in the world, but there are undoubtedly other opportunities as well.
Victor’s Grand Plans and Nikki’s Ascension
Victor, however, will have ambitious plans for his expanding media empire and may be able to persuade Sharon to stay with the team.
Whatever the case, Nikki will receive more power from Victor during the week of August 28–September 1.
Since Nikki will assume some leadership responsibilities in the upcoming episodes, it appears that Victor will want her to take over once the media merger is complete.
If Nikki is indeed Victor’s top choice, he could make quite a splash even if she only accepts the CEO position at Newman Media temporarily.
Victor’s upcoming move will undoubtedly make Adam feel offended, but his father will be determined to put him in his place.
Troubling Bonds and Disturbing Discoveries
In the meantime, Sally and Adam will talk about some ground rules in case they do end up working together once more, but Victor’s plans might throw everyone off-balance before long.
Elena will find something disturbing across town, so it might have something to do with her concerns about Nate and Audra.
The relationship between Audra and Nate might be getting too close for comfort, so Elena will continue to be interested in it and might learn some unsettling information as this plot develops.
