Travis sprinted toward the direction of the first down marker with just over a minute remaining in the first half. Unfortunately, he fell and lay there for a few seconds before getting up and being spotted grasping his left wrist.
He visited the injury tent before the second quarter’s end and was seen wandering around the sidelines. Travis had completed 6-of-11 throws for 91 yards and scored at the time of his injury.
Tate Rodemaker took the snap for the Seminoles after Florida State got the ball back and had to kneel to enter the half. Boston College is trailing Travis’ squad 17-10, but right now, the quarterback’s health will be the only thing on everyone’s mind.
According to Pete Thamel of ESPN, Travis also hurt his left shoulder and arm. He stated as much in a tweet after the event.
Thamel tweeted that Jordan Travis, the star quarterback for FSU, lands awkwardly on the sideline and appears to be in discomfort in his left arm or shoulder. He just left the medical tent and isn’t returning for the last kneel-downs of the half.
