Jane Danson portrays the fictional character Leanne Battersby in the British ITV soap opera Coronation Street.
The soap star was terrified to leave the house when the public first noticed Jane’s character strolling on the cobblestones, for fear that she would be exposed as the shady “neighbor from hell.” She opened up during her 20th anniversary celebration on Corrie, stating, “I would be scared of someone throwing a drink in my face.” Jane claimed that instead of going out to parties, she decided to stay home.
