Jennifer Rene Psaki was born on December 1, 1978, is an American T.V. political expert and previous government official.
A political counselor who served under both the Obama and Biden organizations, she served the Biden organization as the 34th White House press secretary until May 2022.
An individual from the Progressive faction, she recently served in the Obama organization as the White House delegate press secretary, the White House representative correspondences chief, the U.S. Branch of State representative, and the White House interchanges chief.
Psaki was a political giver for CNN from 2017 to 2020. As of Walk 2023, she has a week-after-week T.V. program, Inside with Jen Psaki, on MSNBC.
Educational life
Psaki, the oldest of three daughters, was born in 1978 in New York City, New York, to psychologist Eileen Medvey and retired real estate developer Dimitrios “James” R. Psaki, an Irish-born person whose grandmother was born and whose grandfather emigrated from Greece in 1904. Her parents got hitched in 1976.
Psaki attended Greenwich High School before moving to Stamford, Connecticut, where she was raised. In 2000, she graduated with degrees in sociology and English from the College of William & Mary.
She belongs to the sorority Chi Omega. For the William & Mary Tribe sports team, Psaki spent two years participating in backstroke swimming.
Early career
The start of Psaki’s career was distinguished by his involvement in the reelection campaigns of Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor.
Afterward, Psaki took on the deputy press secretary rolefor John Kerry’s 2004 campaign.
From 2005 to 2006, Psaki served as the communications director for Joseph Crowley and the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.
Obama Administration
As his press secretary, Psaki traveled with U.S. Senator Barack Obama’s campaign for president in 2008. Following Obama’s election victory, Psaki joined the administration as deputy press secretary.
She was promoted to deputy director of communications on December 19, 2009. Psaki left this position on September 22, 2011, to accept a senior vice president and managing director position with Global Strategy Group’s Washington, D.C., office.

Psaki will continue to host the Sunday noon episode of Inside Edition and write her political column for MSNBC and the Monday night program.
Personal life
Psaki wed Greg Mecher on May 8, 2010, who was the congressman’s chief of staff at the time, Steve Driehaus.
Mecher later served as the head of staff for Congressman Joe Kennedy. At the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee in 2006, the pair first met. They have two youngsters.
