Jordi Alejandro Vilasuso is a Cuban-American actor born in Miami, Florida, on June 15, 1981. He is best known for playing Tony Santos on the CBS serial opera Guiding Light from August 2000 to August 2003.
Also, From 2010 to 2011 and 2013, he was with the On All My Children team. Then, he played the role of Dario Hernandez on Days of Our Lives from 2016 to 2017, and Rey Rosales on The Young and the Restless from 2018 to 2022.
A Planned Car Crash!
Jordi Vilasuso, who plays Rey Rosales on The Young and the Restless, joined the cast in 2018. Rey was a decent guy hired as Genoa City’s newest investigator. There, he won the heart and hands of Sharon Newman.
Rey became a key character despite he had some mixed emotions. He had feelings for Chelsea Lawson and wanted to be intimated with her.
He wanted to have some romantic connection with her. Sadly, the couple’s dreams for the future were ditched.
Vilasuso’s departure was announced in March 2022, and the actor subsequently admitted it was inevitable. A month has passed. The writers murdered Rey in a car accident as per their plan.
Rey was Genoa City’s hero, but the production neglected to give the actor an appropriate send-off.
