Victoria Nicole Newman, played by Amelia Heinle since 2005, formerly known as McNeil, Howard, Carlton, Hellstrom, Abbott, and Locke, lives in Genoa City.
Heather Tom previously portrayed her from 1990 to 2003. As a symbol of her independence, Victoria has always gone by her maiden name.
The Childhood
Jack Abbott saved her from drowning when she was a child. She was later abandoned at a Swiss boarding school as a child, and when she came back to Genoa City as a teenager, she discovered that her father had married Ashley Abbott and her mother had married Jack. In order for her parents to get back together, Victoria resolved to end both unions.
Victor Newman introduced his teenage daughter Victoria Newman to Brandon Collins, a high school student, in 1992. While dating Brandon, she was secretly seeing Ryan McNeil, an older employee of Newman Enterprises.
Victoria followed a career at her father’s business, where she met Ryan and fell in love. Ryan was bribed by Victor to leave town, but Ryan and Victoria secretly wed.
A Frustrated Victoria
Victoria temporarily left the city to organize her life. A few months later, she came back to try to restore their union, but she had to leave for work. Victoria then discovered that she was carrying Cole’s child. To tell Cole, she set up a meeting, but things didn’t work out.
Victoria accepted Neil’s proposal after he claimed it would make others think he was the father of her unborn child. Cole thought he was the father when he learned about Victoria’s pregnancy.

Gary was transferred to a sanitarium while she was saved by Nick and Paul Williams. Victoria tried to get back together with Ryan. They experienced intense affection.
The Affair Attack
In order to learn if ranch worker Diego Guitierez had an affair with Nick’s wife, Sharon Newman, in 2002, Victoria pretended to be interested in Diego.
She starts to feel attracted to him, and they start dating. He leaves town for Victor’s money, which enrages Victoria. After being robbed later, Diego sought down his perpetrators to get retribution. Due to his dark side, Victoria ended their relationship.

Victoria decides to leave her family behind and move to Europe to study art. She completes the Guggenheim Program in Florence, Italy, and receives her undergraduate degree in art history. Sabrina Costelana, who is pursuing her master’s degree while working as an art curator, becomes one of her closest friends while she is there.
After spending several years overseas, Jack Abbott approaches her and offers her the position of CEO of Jabot in exchange for her return to Genoa City. Nick, Victoria’s brother, is very upset by her return since he perceives her as a threat.
An Abusive Relationship
JT goes back to Genoa City to look into Victor. But after meeting each other once more and going to see Reed, he and Victoria eventually got back together.
Victoria is informed by JT that he and Mackenzie have left. JT and Victoria resumed their romance, leading to Victoria hiring him for the security squad.
Victoria manages Ashley’s employment with Newman and their competitive relationship. By putting evidence in place that demonstrates Ashley is here to spy on Newman, Jack and Victoria collaborate to have Ashley fired from Newman. JT begins to manipulate Victoria and verbally abuse her as their relationship begins to go south.

In an emotional confession, Victoria tells the woman that JT had been abusing her and that Christine and Paul had hired him to gather information about Victor in order to arrest him.
Nikki promises to defend her even more once the women show their support. JT slips into her room as she enters her bedroom in an effort to win her back.
