Following an arrest for conspiracy to commit wire fraud and felony identity theft, The Chicago Tribune reported that the teenage rap artist accepted a plea bargain.

The charges assumed a severe tone once they first surfaced in 2020, launching him from his comfortable recording studio into the court's supposedly tough conditions.

G Herbo was required to show up for trial on Wednesday in Massachusetts as a result of his Chicago firearm possession arrest on July 9.

Herb, who was on parole, was stopped in a car that the police claimed had four firearms and 248 grams of marijuana in it. The next day, he got bail.

He and five others have also been charged with using stolen cards and making purchases totaling $1.5 million.

According to federal regulations, the 27-year-old "likely faces a sentence in the two- to three-year range," per the Chicago Tribune.

On July 27, Herbo will "tentatively" enter a plea before a federal district judge. Until 27, everyone has to wait and see what Herbo’s future holds.
