Chad Daybell’s wife, Lori Vallow, has been sentenced to prison

In May, Lori Vallow, 50, was found guilty of killing her 16-year-old daughter Tylee Ryan and her 7-year-old son Joshua "JJ" Vallow, who went missing in September 2019.

Prosecutors were successful in persuading the jury that Vallow and Mr. Daybell plotted to kill Tammy, JJ, and Tylee in order to further their peculiar cult beliefs.

Also for monetary reasons, so they may get the proceeds from Tammy's life insurance as well as the children's social security and survivor payments.

On both the murder and conspiracy charges, she was given the harshest possible punishment.

Also, she was given a sentence of five years with the chance of parole and an extra five years in prison.

Judge Steven Boyce of the Idaho District Court informed Vallow Daybell that she "choosed the most terrible and destructive road possible" before imposing the terms.
