Is Katrina Law leaving NCIS? Fans worried about the future of the program

NCIS star Katrina Law has left fans thinking she might not be returning to the CBS drama thanks to her latest post on social media.

With filming on the 22nd season, Katrina rocking a totally different hair color to her on-screen counterpart – some fans were left questioning whether she’ll appear in the new episodes.

 Is Katrina Law leaving NCIS?

No, Katrina is not leaving NCIS.

As revealed by the official marketing materials for the upcoming return of the police procedural, Law isn’t leaving the CBS series. She will remain with MCRT in NCIS season 22. However, it has a downside.

Palmer & Knight’s Break-Up Creates An Unnecessary Problem For NCIS Season 22

While NCIS isn’t a romantic show, it has had several love stories throughout its run. The will-they/won’t-they dynamic between Tony DiNozzo Jr. and Ziva David has become so well-liked that Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo are starring in a new spinoff on Paramount+ called NCIS: Tony & Ziva.

In addition to them, the procedural featured other in-office couples. Admittedly, none of them worked out, but we’ve never seen the aftermath of that because, typically, one character was leaving.

Palmer and Knight’s case was initially like this. However, we will have to endure the awkwardness of their post-split office dynamic when Law returns in NCIS season 22. It seems pointless to be stressed about their upcoming reunion when seeing her again feels like all this heartbreak, considering that the couple only broke up because she was scheduled to leave for Camp Pendleton.

It’s extra frustrating because Knight and Palmer are the first NCIS couple to engage in a proper romance. The team now needs to deal with the impact of the work as well as the work itself.

What Will Happen in Future NCIS Seasons?

As it has been for years, no character’s exit from NCIS seems to be final. Even characters who were thought to be dead (such as Cote de Pablo’s Ziva David) have found their way back into the fold through various plot twists and surprises.

In addition, NCIS is well-known for its numerous spin-off shows, some of which have taken place in New Orleans, Hawaii, and Los Angeles.

This could mean CBS and Paramount have plans to further Agent Knight’s story in her spin-off series at some point, although no news or rumors have indicated so.
