The latest season of Too Hot to Handle just ended, and much like the seasons before it, there were plenty of horny singles, plenty of rule breaks, and in a sweet twist, plenty of personal growth as the cast discussed their commitment issues, parental trauma, and fear of vulnerability.

There were many connections made throughout the season, but by the finale, there were only two couples who had been together for a while, plus one more couple who had been eliminated early. What is known about the couples from Too Hot to Handle’s fifth season is listed below.

Too Hot to Handle: What is it about?

The host of the Netflix reality TV dating series Too Hot to Handle, a traffic cone-shaped virtual assistant named Lana, forbids the 10 adults on the show from kissing, having sexual contact, or satisfying their desires for four weeks.

All of the adults on the show have a history of pointless flings and an inability to build lasting relationships. The contestants date each other and participate in workshops in the series to learn what it takes to develop a serious relationship.

Season 5:

Alex and Elys:

Throughout the season, Alex and Elys formed a strong connection and decided to be together after Elys swapped him for her previous partner.

They had their ups and downs, with Alex being reluctant about commitment, but they eventually became a couple. By the end of the season, they exchanged “I love yous,” but their current relationship status remains uncertain.

Hannah and Isaac:

Hannah and Isaac’s relationship was more physical than emotional, and they openly expressed their intentions to break the rules of the retreat.

However, Lana intervened, and they were sent home for not taking the process seriously. Hannah and Isaac do not seem to be dating because they did not talk about venturing outside the villa.

Louis and Christine:

Louis and Christine had a tumultuous journey on the show, with Louis displaying a lack of loyalty to Christine during a date with another contestant. Despite some challenges, they decided to give their relationship another chance.

However, their current status remains unclear, as Louis expressed doubts about being the right person for Christine, but later seemed open to moving forward with her. As of now, they have been seen hanging out with other cast members, but not with each other.

Previous Seasons’ Couples:

Season 4:

James and Brittan: They found their way back to each other after a brief split on the show brought on by James’ worry about the prize money. By the end of the season, they left the show as a couple. However, there haven’t been recent updates on their relationship, and it’s unclear if they are still together.

Kayla and Seb: They made it to the final of the show but missed out on the jackpot. Nevertheless, they left the show as a couple and continue to be together. They regularly share adorable photos on their Instagram pages, showing that their relationship is going strong.

Jawahir and Nick: They won the cash prize and appeared to be in a strong relationship after the show. However, Jawahir revealed in December 2022 that she is single and not ready to mingle. She mentioned that she got her heart broken when things didn’t work out with Nick. Nick also focused on himself and his foundations, exploring his curiosities. They are not currently paired up.

Season 3:

Harry Johnson and Beaux Raymond: They separated after the show but remained close and in touch. Although they are not together, they maintain a strong friendship.

Holly Scarfone and Nathan Soan Mngomezulu: After the show, Holly traveled to London to meet Nathan’s family, but they decided to put a pause on their relationship. Holly had just graduated, and they had an open conversation about the future. They remain friends and may revisit the possibility of getting back together in the future.

Obi Nnadi and Brianna Giscombe: It’s uncertain if they continued their relationship after the show. There haven’t been recent updates on their status.
