Alix Earle wrote a message to her social media followers last month amid rumors that she was dating Braxton Berrios.
After attending Coachella, an annual music festival in Indio, California, with friends and sharing her experiences on social media, Earle addressed inquiries regarding Berrios’ whereabouts in a TikTok video featuring the NFL player.
The text in the video says, “When people think we broke up because I didn’t take him on a trip.” It is such an odd thing to say to someone, Earle wrote in a text.
The pair started dating in March 2023, after Berrios’ ex-girlfriend Sophia Culpo made their breakup official. Amid a messy breakup between the model and former New York Jets star, Earle and Berrios continued to be seen together, including in some of Earle’s posts on social media.
They made their red carpet debut at the ESPYs in July, and Earle later confirmed their relationship on a podcast in November. Last month, in an interview with TMZ Sports, Berrios was asked about plans to propose, to which he replied, “We’ll see.” “It’s going well. We’re happy,” he added.
Berrios, who is preparing for his 17th NFL season, recently opened up to The Post about what makes his romance with Earle solid.
Earlier this spring, Berrios declared, “She has her brand, it is her career, right, and this [football] is mine and we support each other.” She attends my games and posts behind-the-scenes photos. She supports me every day, when I come from practice or when I’m doing all these things.
“So, for me, supporting her career is my way of showing her that I’m supporting her. I am willing to help her with whatever she needs. And she’s been great about it. I’ve tried to be good about it. And like I said, it’s been a lot of fun.”
After four years with the Jets, Berrios, who once dated model Sophia Culpo, recently concluded his first season with the Dolphins. The Patriots selected him first overall in the 2018 draft.
The All-Pro returner re-signed with Miami in March.
