The Chrisley household
For slightly over a year, the Chrisley family consisted of three members, as Julie gave birth to Savannah Chrisley in August 1997.

What happened to Todd Chrisley?
Todd Chrisley, according to his lawyer, is still dealing with concerning conditions while serving time in federal prison.
The troubled reality star is currently incarcerated at Federal Prison Camp, Pensacola in Florida, where he is accused of causing a medication mix-up. Todd and Julie Chrisley, who are married, are presently incarcerated for tax evasion and bank fraud.
Their extravagant lifestyle was only possible because they lied to banks about the documents they provided. These documents allowed them to withdraw large sums of money from banks.
In June 2022, charges were brought against Todd and Julie Chrisley by the authorities. They were ultimately given a prison sentence in November 2022, five months later. Todd received a 12-year prison sentence. Julie, his spouse, was sentenced to seven years in prison.
His wife is at the Federal Medical Center in Lexington, while he is incarcerated at the Federal Prison Camp in Pensacola.
Fraud and Tax Evasion Allegations
A year after the show’s 2014 premiere, USA Network started working to establish “Chrisley Knows Best” as a television powerhouse.
Consequently, the network ordered “According to Chrisley,” a late-night series hosted by Todd that debuted in 2017.
On the USA Network website, Julie even served as host of the culinary web series “What’s Cooking With Julie Chrisley.”
Chrisley’s popularity eventually extended to other NBCUniversal platforms. “Growing Up Chrisley,” an E! spinoff that followed Savannah and Chase on their cross-country journey from Nashville to Los Angeles, premiered in 2018.
The channel declared in May 2022 that it had approved the dating series “Love Limo,” in which Todd serves as both host and executive producer.
Spinoffs and renewals continued for the Chrisley family despite allegations of fraud and tax evasion. Todd and Julie are accused of fraud and tax evasion.
The “Chrisley Knows Best” stars, who relocated to Nashville in 2016, were charged in 2019 by a federal grand jury in Atlanta on a number of counts, including tax evasion, conspiracy, and wire fraud.

In July 2014, when the couple was trying to rent a house in California, they also allegedly sent a fake bank statement and credit report to the property owner, indicating that they had far more money in their accounts than they actually had.
The indictment stated that the documents they turned in had been “physically cut and then glued or taped together.”
According to Deadline, Peter Tarantino, the accountant for the Chrisleys, was also found guilty of filing two false corporate tax returns on behalf of the Chrisleys’ business and received a three-year prison sentence.
