Are you curious about Tanner Fox’s whereabouts and the cause of his disappearance? We have the latest details.
Fox is a very popular YouTuber, with over 10 million subscribers on the video-sharing platform. However, he has stopped posting to his YouTube channel, with only one video uploaded in over two years.
The reasons behind Tanner Fox’s hiatus from YouTube are as follows.
What happened to Tanner Fox?
Tanner Fox stopped posting to his channel a while ago after becoming addicted to psychedelics.
In 2022, Tanner’s YouTube channel had over 10 million subscribers; however, during the last two years, he has only posted one video to the channel.
Tanner has been largely absent from the internet, but in September 2022, he explained his absence during an appearance on The Roman Atwood Podcast.
I got heavily into shrooms, like psychedelics,” he said. “I was doing it five times a week for a year.”
Tanner then added that his heavy use of psychedelics overlapped with stopping his YouTube posting. Furthermore, his struggles with addiction were not the sole reason he stopped posting on YouTube, but they were a significant contributor.
During that podcast appearance, Tanner also said that he was working on rebuilding his team after taking a year off.

A year and a half later, though, there’s no indication that he’ll be making a full-time return to the platform.
Like many influencers, it appears that he may have struggled with depression and turned to drugs before realizing that his posting habits were unhealthy for his long-term well-being.
Tanner has not provided many details about his reasons for leaving, aside from his drug use.
At one point, it looked like Tanner might be planning to come back to YouTube, but, it’s unclear whether that’s going to happen.
Fans will have to settle for rewatching Tanner’s older videos for the time being in the hope that he might return to his channel in the future.
Only time will tell what Tanner decides to do.
