Actress Kitty Castledine was playing Penny Branning after she left in 2008. Kitty, the daughter of Homes Under The Hammer host Lucy Alexander, received her acting debut in EastEnders after graduating from the London Academy of Music and Drama this summer.
She had no idea that she would begin her EastEnders journey so soon after graduating from drama school. She was eager to get to work and initially did not think it was possible.
