Nushrat Bharucha’s career as an actor
She acted in her first Hindi movie, Jai Santoshi Maa (2006), and appeared in Zubeen Garg’s music video “Zindagi Kahin Gum Hai” in 2007.
She appeared in the Telugu movie Taj Mahal (2010) and made a cameo in the film Kal Kissne Dekha (2009). Drishika Kashyap was her final on-screen character in Seven.
With the somewhat successful anthology Love Sex Aur Dhokha, starring Dibakar Banerjee and Ekta Kapoor, Bharuccha received her first leading part in a Hindi film.
