Unfortunately, Nigel got hurt and had to pull out of Strictly, a BBC spokesperson confirmed. Reports also indicated that Nigel had skipped his customary morning rehearsals.
Nigel has sustained an injury, rendering him unable to perform in the show, and he has had to withdraw from Strictly speaking, a spokesperson for the BBC informed various publications.
Nigel and Katya performed the most passionate routine in the previous episode, steaming rhumba on a bed.
The 34-year-old Russian professional dancer Katya danced to Celine Dion’s stirring ballad “It is All Coming Back To Me Now” while donning a silk negligee.
‘I injured my rib and it’s quite painful,’ Nigel said, admitting, ‘I’m a little bit high on painkillers as well.’
