He was born on August 1, 1995 and his name is David Madison Cawthorn. He was the U.S. representative for North Carolina’s 11th congressional district between 2021 and 2023.

Born in the 1990s, he is said to be a Christian and constitutional conservative. His colleague in congress makes him the first person of such kind. He belongs to the Republican Party.

Upon completion of his work as staffer for Congressman Mark Meadows, later on, Meadows was ousted by Catcher in the elections held in 2020.

Throughout his term there were controversies such as being linked with insider trading, payment for favours, carrying a pistol in an airport and a nude tape. In the 2022 republican primary, Cawthorn lost his seat to Chuck Edwards.

Early life and education

Madison Cawthorn was brought into this world on August 1, 1995, by Priscilla and Roger Cawthorn in Asheville, North Carolina.

He was educated at home till twelve grade and played football with the Asheville Saints which accommodates students from home-schooled high schools. During his childhood years, he was an employee in a Chick-fil-A’s enterprise.

In the fall 2016 semester, he studied political science at Patrick Henry College, graduating with a majority of Ds and dropped out. He explained that what he scored was low owing to injury since he had not learned effectively.

According to Cawthon’s deposition, he stated that having a brain injury which was caused by the accident “ …slowed (his/her) brain down a little bit. Made me less intelligent. “Reading and studying were very difficult because of the pain.” Said he withdrew because of ‘heartbreak’ following the break-up of his fiancé.

Cawthorn is the proprietor and managing director for SPQR Holdings, LLC – a real estate portfolio company based in Hendersonville.

Cawthorn launched it in August 2019 and has stated that it made no sales, with Cawthorn being the only employee of the firm.

In August 2020, one real estate transaction was made by the company which involved purchasing a 6-acre property for $20,000, in a foreclosure auction.

Personal life

According to Cawthorn, he is a Christian. Cawthorn is the younger son of Zain Cawthorn. Cawthorn disclosed their separation in December of 2021.

Cawthorn stated that he had trained for the Wheelchair Racing event of 2020 summer Paralympic Games, but never reached up to the qualifying levels being neither part of any team.
