Race car driver Lizzy Musi, who was featured on the Discovery Channel series “Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings,” passed away following a stage 4 triple-negative breast cancer diagnosis. She was 33.
Musi passed away on June 27 at her North Carolina home with her family by her side, her father, fellow street racer Pat Musi, announced on Facebook.
At 11:25 p.m. tonight, Lizzy, surrounded by her loved ones and in the comfort of her own home, was called to heaven. “Thank you so much for your kind words and support throughout her battle,” he wrote.
In April 2023, Lizzy Musi posted a message on Instagram announcing her cancer diagnosis.
“Hey guys, My life took an abrupt turn, so I do not have much time for posting. I was recently diagnosed with stage 4 triple negative breast cancer, which has spread from my lymph nodes to my liver,” she wrote.

It seemed as though Lizzy Musi was meant to take the wheel from the beginning. Her father owns Pat Musi Racing Engines, a renowned engine builder that will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2020.
Though Musi’s accomplishment is impressive, she was not meant to follow in her father’s footsteps, particularly after becoming well-known thanks to the “Street Outlaws” franchise.
