What happened to Keemstar?
As part of an April Fool’s Day joke, Daniel M. Keem, better known online as Keemstar, staged his death. His channel DramaAlert stated on Monday that the 42-year-old “died of complications from pulmonary embolism.”
DramaAlert management released a statement stating, “He peacefully departed last night in his sleep, succumbing to complications from a pulmonary embolism.”
Additionally, they said, “As we take time to grieve and reorganize, the DramaAlert news team will be temporarily dissolving.” We are grateful for your patience during this trying time.
“Delaware Park in Buffalo will host the Celebration of Life event for Daniel ‘Keemstar’ Keem,” the management announced.
To honor his memory, attendees are encouraged to dress in black and white. The event is scheduled for this Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m.”
Later on, Keemstar admitted that it was a joke. “I hope April Fools’ Day was enjoyable for all. I made it back to the team alive,” he posted on X. Pulmonary embolism has gained attention as a result of the incident.
