Joe said in a statement, “Many of you are aware that I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2009.” “I have openly discussed my diagnosis to encourage more men to prioritize their health and consult with their doctors about testing and treatments.”
Joe explained that despite his cancer recurrence, he was able to continue hosting his four-hour show due to the support of his wife and SiriusXM.
“However, as I prepared to return from the Thanksgiving holiday break, my health deteriorated, making it difficult to host a four-hour live show every day,” he explained. “Right now, I am concentrating on my well-being.”
