American former YouTuber Jenna Nicole Mourey, better known by her stage name as Jenna Marbles, was born on September 15, 1986.
Her YouTube channel has amassed around 1.8 billion video views over the last ten years and, at its peak, more than 20 million subscribers.
Early life
On September 15, 1986, Jenna Nicole Mourey was born in Rochester, New York, where she also had her upbringing.
She next relocated to Boston, Massachusetts, where she attended Suffolk University to acquire a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Boston University to obtain a Master of Education in sport psychology and counseling.
Marbles and another person shared a three-bedroom apartment in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in the summer of 2010. She made a living by working as a bartender, tanning bed attendant, vlogger, and go-go dancer at nightclubs.
Marbles began her work with Barstool Sports in that year when she contributed to their female-focused website StoolLaLa. She departed the magazine in 2011.

An intruder broke into Jenna Marbles home. That day, Julien, Jenna’s husband, posted a statement to his Instagram stories in which he claimed the intruder had been following and bothering him and his wife for “months.”
Fortunately, he used pepper spray to capture the stranger and kept her out of their house until the police could arrive.
He continued by assuring that he, Jenna, and all of their puppies were secure before claiming that the intruder had been “harassing me at my home for the past two months.”

Marbles deleted her YouTube channel
Marbles announced her departure from YouTube in her final video, which she posted on June 25, 2020, and which has since been removed from her YouTube channel.
It happened as a result of the resurfacing of old footage showing her acting in blackface amid the Black Lives Matter movement in 2020. One such video, Marbles impersonated Nicki Minaj and was published in 2011.
Jenna was also involved in other contentious situations, such as her presence in a 2011 music video when she appeared to have vocally supported anti-Asian lyrics. There were further videos where she insulted other ladies, acted inappropriately, and said nasty things.
Jenna responded to each claim in the since-deleted apology video. She apologized, adding that it was never her aim to upset anyone.
She continued by saying she wouldn’t be adding any more videos to the channel and that she wasn’t sure if she would ever start producing new videos again.
