Christian Davon Kirk is an American football wide receiver for the National Football League (NFL) Jacksonville Jaguars.
He was born on November 18, 1996. In the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft, the Arizona Cardinals selected him while he was a college football player at Texas A&M.
Kirk played high school football at Saguaro High School in Scottsdale, Arizona. He was a running back and wide receiver for the Sabercats.
As a junior, he picked up 2,000 all-purpose yards, and as a senior, he gained over 3,000. Kirk was one of the best overall prospects in his class and a five-star recruit, according to Rivals.com.

What happened to Christian Kirk?
Christian Kirk, a wide receiver, looks to have sustained a groin injury after the Jacksonville Jaguars’ Week 13 game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
The injury occurred in the first quarter, after Kirk’s 26-yard reception on the Jaguars’ first offensive play of the game. Kirk complained of groin pain after the play, so the team’s trainers checked him out.
Kirk was able to limp to the locker room with the help of two trainers, but it is unclear how serious his injury is.
Before Monday Night Football, Christian Kirk, the top receiver for the Jaguars, was a vital member of the offense, leading the team in targets and yards while coming in second only to Evan Engram in receptions.
Since Jamal Agnew, Kirk’s regular backup, is out due to injury, the Jaguars turned to rookie wide receiver Parker Washington to fill in for him during the game.
Given that fellow second-year cornerback Montaric Brown was not in action and Herndon was out, second-year cornerback Gregory Junior entered the game.
Starting safety Andre Cisco also left the field during the game with a shoulder injury, adding to the list of injuries.
The team will probably provide more updates on Kirk’s injury and the condition of the other injured players as they evaluate and report on the players’ state.
Due to what appeared to be a groin injury, Christian Kirk was forced to leave the field for the Jaguars against the Bengals.
On the opening offensive play for Jacksonville, Trevor Lawrence completed a deep pass. The wide receiver injured himself while trying to catch it.
The ball was not thrown perfectly, so he had to reposition himself. However, it appears that he hurt himself either from the contortion or the fall.
Though he was in great discomfort, he was able to walk back to the locker room on his own and required assistance. He is eventually ruled out.
“I do not think I ran that fast since like college,” Kirk remarked. He continued, “We have room for improvement, but I am glad we were able to make a play when it mattered.”
Is Kirk suffering from a groin injury?
On social media, there was conjecture that the injury was to the groin, but it may have more to do with a bruising testicle.
There did not appear to be much twisting or torsion in the lower body. He also did not have his foot planted when he fell.
Therefore, even though Christian Kirk’s injury may not be permanent, people believe that it was much more painful.
Christian Kirk: Is he out for the season?
Soon after, Kirk headed for the locker room, he had surgery on his core muscles, and NFL Media reports that he will be out for six to eight weeks.
If the Jaguars win the Super Bowl, he might be able to recover, though it will depend on the ankle injury Lawrence sustained later in the contest.
