If you skateboard, you may have seen or heard about Aaron Kyro’s YouTube channel, Braille Skateboard.
One of the best places for people learning to skateboard to find tutorials and examples of tricks and flips was the Braille Skateboarding YouTube channel, which had more than 5 million subscribers.
A few distinct faces have appeared on the channel’s screen over the years, imparting various tricks to viewers and serving as key figures in the Braille Skateboard brand.
Regretfully, the Braille House has been demolished, and the Braille Skateboard is coming to an end. Nevertheless, what happened to the group that taught skating to an entire generation?
What happened to Braille skateboarding?
Many of Braille Skateboarding’s prominent figures have spoken out in recent months regarding their decisions to leave the company.
Despite their lack of outspoken criticism of the company, a number of them appeared to base their decision on financial difficulties, referring to their incapacity to meet their expenses from their work with the channel.
Ricky Glaser and Gabe Cruz both decided to leave the brand behind, and mere months later Aaron Kyro, who has been running the Braille Skateboard brand, posted a video announcing the demolition of the Braille House. Ricky and other older members were not informed of its demolition.
Longtime supporters were disappointed to learn that Braille skateboarding appeared to be disappearing, but it appears that Aaron’s religious beliefs may have played a significant role.
According to a report, he’s an active member of the church of Scientology, donating large sums of money to the church.
This has left a bad taste in the mouths of many fans, especially since so many of the brand’s members departed citing financial difficulties.
A video on the official Braille Skateboarding channel claims that the channel will be uploading less frequently and hopefully focusing on higher-quality videos rather than the amount of content released each week.
But the brand is not going away, and it’s still going to be done under Aaron’s direction.
What is the net worth of Braille skateboarding?
As of July 2024, the net worth of Braille skateboarding is estimated to be around $1.96 million. Sales of branded merchandise and YouTube advertising revenue are the brand’s main sources of income.
The channel has over 5 million subscribers on YouTube and has received over 1 billion views on their videos
