According to the SEC Network broadcast, Texas A&M runner Le’Veon Moss took a carry for 13 yards on the play. Morgan’s attempt to stop him resulted in mild contact.
Update on his injury
Later in the quarter, SEC Network’s Alyssa Lang gave an update on Morgan; according to Hunter Yurachek, the athletic director for Arkansas, he is struggling with a neck injury. As per protocol, he was sent to the hospital out of an abundance of caution.

Hunter Yurachek, the director of athletics for Arkansas, told me he was experiencing some neck soreness and tenderness after having his neck somewhat snapped back” Lang said.

After transferring from Pittsburgh throughout the winter, Morgan III is in his first season with Arkansas. Last year, he appeared in 12 games and started five for the Panthers.
As a redshirt senior, he recorded 19 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, and 2.5 sacks. He joined the transfer portal following the season and traveled to Arkansas.
Several social media users prayed for Morgan

Sports presenter Brian Holland said Morgan retreated “without any push” late in the Aggies’ 34-22 victory. In the preceding play, he appeared injured in the neck area because he fell.
The edge rusher’s Razorbacks teammates crowded around him as medical personnel attended to him. At AT&T Stadium, the fans remained silent while Morgan stayed on the field for over five minutes.
The Razorbacks supporters applauded the player as he was eventually taken off into the tunnel.
According to SEC Network reporter Alyssa Lang, Morgan was “talking and able to move” while transported to a nearby hospital.
“The trainers told him that he was dealing with kind of his neck getting snapped back,” Lang said, adding the Arkansas sixth-year senior felt “tenderness and pain” in the neck region.
Lang said that according to precautionary policy, he should be rushed to hospital every time he experienced neck pain.
