King Charles and Prince Harry might not have been on the best terms over the past few years, but could that change this summer? King Charles III is probably going to invite his younger son Prince Harry, his wife Meghan Markle, and their kids to Balmoral Castle this summer, if reports from the media are to be believed.
It might occur during a crisis for the British Royal family, with the king and his older daughter-in-law Kate Middleton both battling various forms of cancer. Prince Archie, who turns five next month, has only been seen by King Charles a few times, and Princess Lilibet only once.
They said, “Charles seems to be reaching out to Meghan and Harry in an attempt to get a chance to see the kids.” He may conclude that life is just too short.”
The sickened monarch with cancer has only once met Princess Lilibet and has only seen Prince Archie, who turns five next month, a few times. However, there are rumors that the 75-year-old Charles will invite the Sussexes to the royal family’s beloved retreat.
“Balmoral is the perfect, peaceful place for a reunion,” the insider went on. Harry and Meghan should accept the visit if he extends an invitation.
During the royal family’s celebration of Queen Elizabeth at the 2022 Platinum Jubilee, Charles had his only encounter with Lilibet. A source at the time stated, “It was a terrific visit, and, of course, the king was delighted to see his grandson and meet his granddaughter for the first time.”
In his memoir Spare, Prince Harry wrote about the family’s summer residence at Balmoral, expressing his love for the estate.
In the book, he wrote about his happy childhood memories of spending summers at Balmoral Castle with his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II, father, Prince William, and brother.
Prince Harry keen on reconciliation
King Charles and other royal family members are expected to travel to the countryside of Scotland. The princess of Wales and her husband, Prince Willian, will accompany the monarch.
Reports state that Prince Harry is eager to move forward with his plans for “reconciliation” with his father. When King Charles was diagnosed with cancer in February, he took a plane to London from the United States, where he currently resides with his spouse.
When is Prince Harry expected to go back to the United Kingdom?
On May 8, Prince Harry is expected to speak at the Invictus Games’ tenth-anniversary service, which will be held at St. Paul’s Cathedral. The official schedule indicates that he will be attending the service, but Meghan’s participation is still listed as “TBC,” or “To Be Confirmed.”
