Is Steph Curry leaving the Warriors? Has Steph Curry only played for the Warriors?

The NBA was upended when Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry joined the Golden State Warriors. Eddie Gonzalez, the former co-host of KD’s ETCs podcast, recently urged the superstars to get back together and repeat the history.

This time, though, he recommended Curry sign with Durant’s Phoenix Suns and move out of the Bay Area.

A fan used a recent selfie of KD and Curry that went viral on X. Gonzalez was drawn to this and felt compelled to share the post and his thoughts. While giving a suggestion, he wrote,

“Come home, Steph. (Home is the Phoenix Suns starting point guard position.)”

Is Steph Curry leaving the Warriors?

Yes, he might be leaving the Warriors.

Stephen Curry said he wouldn’t play for the “bottom feeder,” the Golden State Warriors.

In a recent interview with Andscape’s Marc Spears, Curry was asked,-

You saw the lackluster teams that Kobe Bryant and Dirk Nowitzki had at the end of their careers while staying with one team.

If you play exclusively for the Warriors for the remainder of your career, you will not be fine playing with anyone.

It’s tough, right? I have always shared that my goal is to be a warrior. As far as my career goes, I think that is feasible.

And while you can be competitive, that doesn’t mean you are guaranteed the championship. It doesn’t mean winning.

While it is clear that you are realistic, winning is always the top priority. Staying the course does not guarantee that it will occur.

To adapt to the current state of the league and the current positions of some of these talented teams, you need to shake things up and keep reimagining what it looks like.

To be honest, I am taking things one step at a time. That is the only thing that will safeguard my happiness.

Also, it allows me to enjoy being myself when I’m out there playing. And when it comes to using my imagination, I will keep making the choices that are best for me and my career. I want to win.

This isn’t anything different from what Curry has said before, except for that last part about him not wanting to be on a bottom-feeder team.

He is likely correct when he says he does not think the Warriors will put him in that situation. He must get a respectable, competitive team in Golden State for the foreseeable future.

Although the Warriors finished the season with 46 victories, they were not a bottom-feeder; nonetheless, they did not have to drop that far to find themselves in the bottom half of the conference.

But things happen. Not every situation unfolded as anticipated. In addition, Curry is at least opening the door for him to end his career elsewhere if the Warriors collapse, which again may be closer than it appears.
