A report recently updated Samantha Irvin’s status with the Stamford-based promotion.
Samantha Irvin, and Ricochet announced their engagement last year. The pair has acknowledged their relationship in real life in the past.
Like many of the company’s well-known couples, the two were also selected for the same brand in the annual WWE Draft.
After Ricochet’s possible departure, many began to speculate whether Irvin was also planning to depart from the Stamford-based promotion.
For Clash at the Castle 2024, the RAW ring announcer has made it to Scotland, but Ricochet has not gone with the roster.
The report also states that she’s continuing with the Stamford-based promotion. Furthermore, the management might request that the former US champion appear on television.
Despite being written off by Bron Breakker, the former North American champion is still under contract with the company.

One of the very gifted people who works as the ring announcer for WWE’s Raw brand is Samantha Irwin. She began her career in the WWE in 2021, working for 205 Live and NXT before joining the main roster in 2022 to serve as the official ring announcer for SmackDown.
In 2023, she moved to Raw. Irwin is highly praised for her work and has found stardom in WWE.
On the June 10, 2024, episode of Raw, Ricochet made his final WWE appearance, battling with Bron Breakker in the ringside area backstage.
After being attacked in the parking lot, Ricochet was driven in an ambulance to the hospital. Samantha Irwin, who watched Fiance’s brutal assault, cried and left the arena with Ricochet in the same ambulance, and Pat McAfee took the ring announcer spot in the main event.
A backstage report clarifies to the fans that they have heard from WWE sources that Ricochet’s WWE exit doesn’t affect Samantha Irvin’s status with WWE.
She has a separate contract with the Stamford-based company and will continue her role as the Raw ring announcer even after Ricochet’s WWE exit.
The Hall of Famer responds to reports that Samantha Irvin is quitting the WWE.
While there is no official confirmation yet, Hall of Famer Teddy Long thinks there can be any other reason for the star leaving, if she does decide to leave.
“You have no idea what is happening behind the scenes. It might not be just for a contract. It might be, that she has a heated argument with somebody.
Or she might not be happy with how she is being treated backstage. As fans, we only get to see the TV side. Okay?
