Both AEW and WWE insiders anticipate Ricochet joining AEW. Fightful Select reports that he is not anticipated to face Will Ospreay at Wembley Stadium. Ricochet’s fiancée, Samantha Irvin, will stay with WWE. Ricochet couldn’t appear at Forbidden Door, but fellow free agent Dijak was backstage.
Is Ricochet leaving WWE?

After being attacked by Bron Breakker, Ricochet had to leave WWE Raw in an ambulance.
Before Ricochet was thrown to the ground by Breakker, the two wrestlers got into a brawl backstage at the show. He then slammed The Only into the windshield of a car, leaving him shaken up.
Ricochet was then loaded into an ambulance along with his fiancée, Samantha Irvin.
This event could have been the last WWE Raw for the 35-year-old, who reportedly informed the company that he plans to leave after his contract expires this summer.
According to the reports, Ricochet is expected to be written out of WWE storylines before the contract expires. The man better known by his last name, Christopher James Dijak, recently declared that he had decided not to extend his WWE contract after it had expired.
Prestige Wrestling quickly signed him, and Dijak will be a part of the Roseland 9 event on September 29, 2024, in Portland, Oregon.
The real reason behind Ricochet’s parting with WWE is unknown. As previously stated, this former WWE star may be joining the AEW.
Is Ricochet going to the AEW?
Ricochet is anticipated to make his AEW debut soon, according to Dave Meltzer’s report in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Meltzer stated, “Ricochet (Trevor Mann, 35) had his WWE contract expire, and he is expected to debut here shortly.” It will be interesting to see his early reaction.
Ricochet would get the opportunity to rekindle his in-ring rivalry with Will Ospreay by signing with AEW. Ospreay said he would be thrilled to face Ricochet in a wrestling match.
