It has been reported that Norah O’Donnell and CBS News have agreed for O’Donnell to remain the anchor of “CBS Evening News” past the 2024 election.
A spokeswoman for O’Donnell declined to make the anchor available for comment. O’Donnell disclosed her new contract Friday evening while having a toast with some producers at CBS News Washington, D.C. On Saturday, CBS News announced that it had signed the anchor to a new contract.
Despite mounting rumors, the agreement was finalized by CBS News, led by co-president Neeraj Khemlani.
