One of the most well-known characters on the show will die if Belle’s story takes a tragic turn. Eden Taylor Draper has played Belle since 2005, when she was seven years old.
In her second year, the soap star won a British Soap Award for Spectacular Scene of the Year for the plot in which Daz and Belle fell down a mineshaft, demonstrating her enormous potential right away.

Yes, because her sister was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia.
Thankfully, the 26-year-old’s exciting off-screen life could not be more different from her on-screen persona, and she regularly updates her fans on it.
Eden was rocked with heartache when her younger sister, Francesca, was diagnosed with cancer when she was 14. Eden told how she discovered news of the diagnosis while on the set of Emmerdale.
“I got the call while I was with Issy Hodgins, who plays Victoria [Sugden], and she just held me for a long time,” she continued. I was unable to return to work on my next scene.
But Emmerdale allowed me to see Chess at Leeds General Hospital, and they were really encouraging.”
Francesca underwent four rounds of chemotherapy for her acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Every day, Francesca would take chemotherapy pills and attend the treatment once a month.
Eden was written out of Emmerdale for a month so she could spend time with her sister and visit her in the hospital several times a week.
“I had a small bed next to Chessie’s bed,” she stated. Snuggles, tea, and Come Dine with Me marathons would be the order of the day in the morning.
Eden has since continued to advocate for the Teenage Cancer Trust, appearing in a movie that the organization produced in response to an urgent plea for donations.
Speaking in an interview, Eden told how her family supported each other during the difficult time. “It is difficult when something like that happens in a family,” she remarked.
We are lucky that we have come together and supported each other. It made us so much stronger and closer than before.’
