The Piquet family recently celebrated a very special occasion. Julia Piquet, the daughter of three-time Formula 1 world champion Nelson Piquet, tied the knot.

For many reasons, the internet can be a fantastic place, but when false information and lies are spread, it can also be an extremely hazardous location.
“I am not sure how to deal with hate based on false information. I have considered composing a response and letting it stand.
“Accusations made in the past months, have taken on another level of defamation. Those who know me well know that I would never do, say, or put myself in such a position.
“Even though I am far from perfect, I am proud of my ethics, morals, and manners. As a human, hateful remarks have a profound impact on both me and those around me.
I hope this serves as a reminder to double-check internet material before threatening someone.
“I hope everyone involved takes a moment to consider the repercussions of spreading false information and acting in hateful ways. “Remember, as James Clear says, ‘Every action we take is a vote for who we want to be’. Let’s choose to be better humans to ourselves and others.”
Verstappen wrote, “This has to stop,” in response to his girlfriend’s post. These unfounded allegations made by some people on TikTok and Instagram are absurd and crazy.
Hatred has no place in this world. Our family is very happy together, and we are aware of what is true. I love you.”
