The American country music duo Big & Rich includes guitarists, singers, and songwriters, Big Kenny and John Rich.
Before the duo’s foundation, Rich was a bass guitarist in the country band Lonestar, while Kenny was a solo artist for Hollywood Records.
Big & Rich have made a career of being relatable and musically relevant since exploding into the public consciousness in 2003 as the rarest of breeds—true country music game changers.
Did Big and Rich break up?
No, they have not been seen together for some time, but the duo will be touring together in 2024.
Rich declared in 2008 that Big & Rich would take a break while Big Kenny healed from a prior neck injury.
Rich announced that he would put out a solo album “with Kenny’s blessing” in the interim. Warner Bros. released Rich’s second solo album, Son of a Preacher Man, early in 2009.
John Rich and Big Kenny Alphin are growing accustomed to the remarks. “A fellow came up to me in the airport recently and said, ‘You used to be Big & Rich, right? Alphin laughs, “I am so happy that you two are back together.”
“I frequently hear that,” Rich continues. “We never felt we were broken up, but if that was the perception, we’re glad we were missed and that people are pleased we’re back together.
Big & Rich has three more shows coming up in addition to their current tour.
Their next stop on the tour is York Farms in Cullman; following that, they will be at Foxwoods Resort Casino’s Premier Theater in Mashantucket.
Big and Rich’s last concert of the year will take place on August 16th, 2024, at 8:00 pm in Mashantucket, CT, at the Premier Theater at Foxwoods. Big and Rich with Gretchen Wilson tickets for this show will range from $64.99 to $306.99 per ticket.
Tickets are available as Lower Arena Reserved Tables for Four (4) people, Lower Arena GA seats, ADA, and Lawn GA.
Dedicated F&B table service and touch-free payment are features of reserved tables in sections 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, enabling visitors to place food and drink orders.
How long have Big and Rich been together?
