While many characters have been with the FBI since the first season, there have been some cast changes during the show’s early seasons. Most significantly, following season 2, analyst Kristen Chazel (Ebonee Noel) departed. Kristen went to rehab after being stabbed during the season. She did not, however, have the same on-screen exit as Tiffany. Tiffany was presented as her replacement, and her departure was justified after the fact.
Multiple factors led actors to leave the FBI. What is wrong with Tiffany will be covered in this article.
Why is Tiffany leaving FBI?
The actress is looking forward to what’s next for her.
Kane has been with the FBI since season three, and the cast has remained relatively consistent over the show’s seven-year run. Therefore, considering the direction of Tiffany’s story in season 6, her departure was unexpected.
The new season did not give the character much to do. Kane had a valid reason to leave the well-liked police procedural, though, and it seems that her departure was voluntary.
Kane explained her decision to leave the FBI shortly after it was made public, stating that she was excited for the upcoming opportunities. Kane wanted to try out other different roles from the one she had been playing for four years.
The actress’ decision allowed both her and the series she was leaving behind to go in new creative directions that would not have been possible if she had decided to play Tiffany for a fifth year.
There had been much conjecture that Tiffany would suffer another traumatic incident during her last case, which would cause her to decide to resign. This theory was only partially accurate, though, as Tiffany had already given notice and was working on her final case at the start of FBI season 7.
In this case, Tiffany had to care for Scola (John Boyd) until medical assistance arrived after he suffered a serious injury during a chase during an intense search for international terrorists. Although she did not leave because of this incident, it did support her decision to move on.
Although Tiffany’s last day was mentioned several times during the episode, her plans were never explained. The women talked about her post-FBI plans in the last few minutes, but Tiffany reminded Maggie that she was leaving town the following week, so they only had time for one last coffee and catch up.
This conversation revealed that Tiffany was moving to Georgia to work with her sister in a cafe, which would give her the peace she craved while healing from the trauma of Hobbs’ death and her shooting Hakim.
