The casts of many freshly opened Tony-nominated musicals, including “Some Like It Hot,” “& Juliet,” “New York, New York,” and “Camelot,” will share the stage with the current stars of the celebrated revival, which has been performing for more than a year.
Paradise Square, Let It Burn, and many more
However, “Funny Girl” isn’t the only Broadway holdover that will receive some attention on Sunday. Joaquina Kalukango, who starred in “Paradise Square” and last year received the prize for Best Leading Actress in a Musical, will also take the stage. With a powerful performance of “Let It Burn” from the doomed show, which ended weeks later, the vocal dynamo tore the roof off Radio City Music Hall’s ceremony last year.
