Kim Ji-soo is a South Korean singer and actress who goes by the stage name Jisoo. She was born on January 3, 1995. She is a member of Blackpink, a girl group from South Korea established by YG Entertainment in August 2016.

Jisoo’s Me, her first solo studio album, was made available on March 31, 2023. With 1.03 million copies sold in less than two days, the album became the first to sell more than a million copies and the best-selling album by a female soloist in South Korea. It debuted at the top of the Circle Album Chart.

Commercially successful, “Flower,” the album’s lead single, reached its peak positions at number two on the Circle Digital Chart and the Billboard Global 200 and topped the charts for Korean female soloists on the Canadian Hot 100, the NZ Singles Chart, and the UK Singles Chart.

Is Jisoo leaving Blackpink in 2023?

No, there has not been any confirmation of that but Jisoo from Blackpink recently released her solo debut this year. The theme, track listing, and release date for her solo album are still unknown.

Jisoo is the last member of Blackpink to have done so, following Jennie’s release of her solo album in November 2018, Rosé’s in March 2021, and Lisa’s in September 2021.
