According to one insider, Ariana and Dalton split up in January. Ethan and she started dating recently, and he is divorced from his wife.
Representatives for both celebrities have not responded to several requests for comment.
Slater, 31, will portray Boq, the love interest of Elphaba’s sister Nessarose in Universal’s film adaptation of the cherished Broadway musical, while Grande is slated to play Glinda.
It is yet unknown whether the SAG-AFTRA strike will have an impact on the premiere of the film, which started filming in the U.K. last year and was slated for release in November 2024.
